THe ASSESSMENT UNIT PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL
The Assessment Unit provides service on a 24-hour basis. Admissions will be assessed at this unit by the nursing and medical team before being sent to the appropriate ward. No appointments are needed; this Unit provides a walk-in service.
There are some instances where admissions may be sent directly to the ward, this will be determined by the individual case.
