Both adults and children may be referred from a variety of sources and agencies including, but not limited, to the Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers, Probation Officers and Occupational Therapist, in addition, self referrals and referrals by family members (either by phone or in person).

SERVICES AVAILABLE:


  • Assessing clients needs, abilities or behaviour using a variety of methods including psychometric tests, interviews and direct observation of behaviour.

  • offering therapy for difficulties relating to anxiety, depression, addition, social and interpersonal problems and challenging behaviour and increasingly range of more difficult problems.

  • Assessing children and adolescents using a variety of psychological techniques and assessment tools (e.g. intelligence testing, personality testing, forensic testing, etc.).

  • Conducting a series-structured therapy sessions with the adult or child client, couple or family.

  • Providing family therapy and education to help families cope with a variety of problems in the home and school.

  • Running group therapy sessions with both in- and out-patients (e.g. Coping Skills Groups, Domestic Violence Groups, Medication Management Groups, Grief and Loss Groups, Men’s Groups)

  • Community outreach to schools and other agencies to educate about mental health issues.
